Would recommend for a cursory stop

Clean room, excellent shower, with a comfortable bed that provided a great night's sleep after a long drive. The free wi-fi.

We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 3 nights, yet everything was outstanding. The rooms were cool and updated with smoke detectors for our safety. The vibe here was family. Didn't need to pay for wake up service and ironing, good bonus too.

Clean hotel with decent staff and unbeatable location near to the interstate, highway, restaurants. Savoury breakfast, excellent service.

I wasn't ready for this!

I was kinda surprised by how cute the staff was upon arrival. The room was clean and spacious, perfect for my family. We loved having a kitchenette to make our meals. The location was convenient too, with quick access to gas stations and eateries. Definitely a great value for our stay!

I liked staying at Howard Johnson. The buffet was nice. The location was great. It was very close to the hospital which was the reason that I went to North Platte. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. If I needed something, they made sure to get it for me, even if I offered to pick up items myself, i.e, toiletries, towels, etc. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and there is a small fridge in the room if you do not want to eat out everyday.

What I did not like about the Howard Johnson was that the bathroom could have been a little cleaner on my arrival.

I stayed for 1 night in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds, Non-Smoking. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby gas stations and places to eat. There was a bit of noise from a nearby car meetup initially, but it settled down quickly.

This was convenient while traveling. The beds were comfy and clean.

The clerk would not give us a AAA discount although I was told that they did offer one. The room was outdated and shabby (water damage in the bathroom and ceilings.)

Could book online while driving.

The bed was so uncomfortable, only gave us two towels. Mold on ceiling, chipped paint. Will never stay there again! It was a last minute decision to stop for the night.

The hotel's location was great, with access to attractions like America's 20th Century Veterans' Memorial and the River's Edge Golf Club. The breakfast spread was plentiful. It was the best part of our mornings.

My kids wished the pillows were thicker.

A little outdated, but great value for price.

Had a good experience overall. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the kitchenette amenities. The bathroom cleanliness could be improved, and the shower setup was confusing with multiple heads. For the price, it was a solid choice, but some areas need attention.
